Commercial/Business Litigation Attorney – Counsel

Newman & Lickstein is a growing law firm located in downtown Syracuse. We specialize in real estate transactions (commercial/residential), corporate & business law, litigation & dispute resolution, and technology, startups & venture capital.

We are seeking a business litigation attorney with at least five (5-7) years of experience to work in our dynamic litigation practice. In this role, you will be working on general business/commercial litigation matters, real property and lease disputes, creditors’ rights actions, non-competition disputes, and more.

• The majority of our disputes originate from our existing diverse clients: real estate investors and management organizations, venture capital-backed technology businesses, healthcare organizations and practices, multi-generational family businesses, estate disputes, and more.
• We are interested in candidates with large or mid-size law firm experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ideally, your prior experience will be in business/commercial litigation.
