Real Estate Paralegal

Newman & Lickstein, LLP is seeking a full-time experienced real estate paralegal to join its growing team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of work experience with a law firm, lender, or in-house legal team in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions. The position involves working with our dynamic group of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative support staff, and directly with clients in connection with residential and commercial real estate purchase, sale, and financing transactions, and performing other real estate-related assignments and tasks.

• In this position, you will prepare and review legal documents relating to real estate transactions.
• We are most interested in candidates with large or mid-size law firm experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent legal research and writing skills. Ideally, your prior experience will be in general real estate and housing law, financing and leasing, fund investments, title issues and searches, escrow arrangements, and property management.
• We are looking for someone who has strong verbal communication skills and can work both independently and in a team environment.
